I was tasked with creative direction and packaging design for a Compound, a private label brand for skateboard trucks. This was a rush job and although I explored and showed several directions, the choice was obvious: lean into the price point, generic nature of the off label brand with generic packaging. It's authentic to the product and skate culture and was immediately the favorite for all stake-holders.
